CMEDIA CLEAN (xxx)

If a DATA PURE cleaner is attached, the automatic tape cleaning process is set to:

xxx =	OFF - tape is not cleaned after loaded (OFF = default)
	2m/s, 4m/s - tape is cleaned at 2m/s or 4m/s after load is complete
	diag - test cleaner in diagnostic mode only

WRT ERR - (xxxxxx)

Procedure after a write error is detected from the read-back-check on the media

xxxxxx =	norm rec - normal write error recovery is performed (norm rec = default)
	leave err - leave the write error, errors left on tape

PERM RD ERR (xxxx)

After a permanent read error is reported to SCSI, another read command is issued:

xxxx =	norm - normal permanent read error procedure, the drive will not continue to read (norm = default)
	skip - the drive will skip over the bad record and continue reading, even if the next record block id is out of sequence

ERSE W2 DID-(xxxx)

Erase in Wrap 2 for thin tape before writing density ID

xxxx =	norm - will erase Wrap 2 before writing density ID in 36-track, thin tape (norm = default)
	dont - will not erase Wrap 2 before writing density ID in 36-track, thin tape
