SCSI Configuration Parameters

SCSI ID xx
SCSI target ID - xx equals target ID, values from 00 to 15 are scrolled
SCSI LUN x
SCSI LUN - LUN number used in SCSI commands, values 0 to 7 are scrolled (0 = default)
WIDE NEGT (xxxxx)
Wide negotiation - select if target starts wide negotiations
xxxxx = dsabl ( disabled ) - target does not start wide negotiations (default)
enabl ( enabled ) - target starts wide negotiations
SYNC NEGT (xxxxx)
Synchronous negotiation - select if target starts synchronous negotiations
xxxxx = dsabl (disabled) - target doesn’t start synchronous negotiations (default)
enabl (enabled ) - target starts synchronous negotiations
XFER TMOUT (xxxxx)
Transfer Time-out - target goes bus free after no initiator back after 5 minutes
xxxxx = dsabl ( disabled ) - target does not time-out initiator (default)
enabl ( enabled ) - target goes bus free after 5 minutes
LD/RWD STAT (xxxx)
SCSI state during loading or rewinding, status is either BUSY or CHECK CONDITION
xxxx = Busy target returns BUSY status during loading, rewinding (default)
Nrdy ( Not Ready ) target returns "NOT READY" check condition during loading and rewinding
BUFFER MODE (xxxx)
Buffer mode until changed by SCSI Mode Select Command (buff = default)
xxxx = buff ( buffered mode ) write commands return status after data is in buffer
off ( non-buffered mode) write commands return status after data is on tape
  sp.3 ( Special Buffer Mode ) Special Buffer Mode from SCSI - not supported
FMK SYNC - (xxxxx)
Synchronize buffer, write all data to tape after one, 2 sequential, or buffer all filemarks (buff = default)
xxxxx = all - write all buffer data to tape after writing one filemark
2 seq - write all buffer data to tape after receiving 2 sequential write filemarks, single filemarks are buffered
  buff - buffer all filemarks, treat filemarks the same as buffered data
DISC/RESEL_____xx
Disconnection time-out - time-out to quit reselection to a disconnected initiator
xx = 0 (no time-out, default) or 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40 minutes
WR RETRIES xx
Maximum number of retries to successfully write data from the buffer to tape
xx - scrolls from 10,15,20, and 25 (10 = default)
RD RETRIES xx
Maximum number of retries to successfully read data from the tape into the buffer
xx - scrolls from 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90, and 100 (10 = default)
